Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Construction Site Cleaning Foreman to lead cleaning crews on active construction sites. This role requires hands-on leadership, coordination of daily cleanup operations, and skilled operation of a skid steer (skid loader) for debris removal. The ideal candidate ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead construction site cleaning crews on multiple job sites.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily cleanup tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Operate a skid steer to move debris, load dumpsters, and maintain site organization.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site supervisors.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA and company standards.
- Inspect job sites regularly to maintain quality control.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper cleaning procedures and safety practices.
- Enforce PPE usage and safety protocols at all times.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Perform hands-on cleaning tasks when needed (sweeping, hauling, final cleans).
- Maintain daily reports, schedules, and crew attendance.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of construction site cleaning or labor experience.
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
- Proven experience operating a skid steer (required).
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required unless specified).
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards (OSHA familiarity preferred).
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
Work Environment:
- Active residential and commercial construction sites.
- Exposure to dust, debris, noise, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment.
